Brenda Kohler of Northampton was driving on the 500 block of Cherryville Road in Lehigh Township when she was struck by another vehicle just after 4:30 p.m., according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
Kohler was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg and pronounced dead around 5:25 p.m., authorities said.
An autopsy showed Kohler’s death to be accidental in nature and caused by multiple blunt force injuries from the crash.
Kohler was apparently a member of St. Paul’s UCC Northampton, which described her as a “moving force” in a touching Facebook tribute.
The crash remained under investigation by the Lehigh Township Police Department.
